How does EasyPZ work?

Simply open the app, share your location, press the button to call Zima, and he will show you the way. It's real easy peasy. We'll help you find the nearest restroom that suits your needs, and when available, we'll show you accessibility features and any costs up front.

Soon you'll be able to update incorrect information and add new restroom locations directly through the app. Each submission will be carefully reviewed to ensure quality. We'll track and let you know how many people you've helped with your contributions!

Is it free to use?

Yes! EasyPZ is completely free to use, currently without any intrusive advertisements. Our core mission is to make public restroom access easier for everyone, without barriers. While we're exploring additional premium features to enhance your experience, the essential service will always remain free and you will not be forced to register. If you enjoy using EasyPZ and want to support our mission, you can find tipping options in the menu - but this is entirely voluntary and won't affect your access to the service. Of course, your 5-star reviews in the App Store and Play Store also help us out a lot. You can find the "Rate app" button in the app's menu.

Which platforms is EasyPZ available on?

EasyPZ is available on both iOS and Android devices. You can find us in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Is EasyPZ available in my city?

EasyPZ is currently available in select cities, starting with Berlin and New York City. We are continuously expanding our database, so stay tuned for updates on new locations. Follow us on Instagram or X in the meantime.

What accessibility features does EasyPZ provide?

We show a variety of accessibility information when available, including: wheelchair accessibility, gender-neutral bathrooms, baby changing stations, urinals-only facilities, and entry fees or costs.

Please note that this information is currently limited and we're actively working to improve our database. If you notice missing or incorrect accessibility information, please let us know at support@easypz.app. Soon, you'll be able to contribute this information directly through the app – keep an eye on our in-app announcements for updates!

Do you only show public restrooms?

No, in addition to public restrooms provided by municipalities, we are also adding cafes, restaurants, museums, libraries, stores, and anything that may have an accessible restroom. We kindly remind our users to be mindful of each business's policies. EasyPZ is purely for informational purposes and we will do our best to forewarn you if you will be expected to pay to access a restroom.

Can I use EasyPZ offline?

Currently, EasyPZ requires an internet connection to provide you with the most up-to-date restroom information.

What makes EasyPZ different from other apps?

EasyPZ is designed to be the fastest and most convenient solution for "toilet emergencies." Our app delivers reliable information on nearby restrooms, wherever you are. With a streamlined interface, EasyPZ is up to 5x faster than Google or Apple Maps (within our coverage areas) with better results. Unlike other apps that often lack a user-friendly experience or suffer from outdated data, EasyPZ stands out with intuitive design and a vibrant community that actively contributes to our growing, high-quality restroom database.

Where are you getting the data from?

Our restroom data is sourced from a combination of publicly available information, open data platforms, and contributions from our user community. We continuously work to verify and update this data to ensure it's accurate and reliable for everyone. If you know of a restroom that's not in our app, please get in contact! At a later date we will allow you to add it directly in the app.

Are the restroom listings accurate and up to date?

Despite careful examination, we cannot guarantee the correctness nor completeness of the information provided in our app. However, each entry is carefully examined by the creator and cleaned up prior to being released for public use. This is why your feedback matters a lot. Within the app, there will be new ways to share your feedback with us. We will take your contributions to improve the database and the experience overall.

Is my personal information secure?

EasyPZ does not collect personal information, and users are not required to register to access the main service. To improve user experience, we use anonymized identifiers to track interactions within the app solely for research purposes. For registered users, our privacy policy provides full transparency on data usage.

How often is the data updated?

We verify and update our database regularly through manual verification. Each new submission is carefully reviewed before being added to ensure quality and accuracy. While we can't guarantee real-time updates, we actively monitor and verify locations to maintain data reliability. Your feedback helps us keep information current - if you notice any changes, please let us know at support@easypz.app.

Can I add locations?

In order to protect the integrity of the data, only the creator and a few selected members will have this feature enabled (for now). If you'd like to become a member, please do not hesitate to contact us below.

How can I report inaccurate information?

Currently, you can report any inaccurate information by emailing support@easypz.app. We're working on adding a reporting feature directly in the app to make this process easier.

How can I get involved with EasyPZ?

There are several ways to support EasyPZ's mission: tell your city officials about us, spread the word to friends and family, follow us on social media, and consider tipping to help us make this a full-time project. Every contribution helps us improve restroom accessibility for everyone.

Will there be more features in the future?

Yes! We're actively developing new features that will make EasyPZ even more helpful for our community. While we're keeping some exciting updates under wraps for now, you'll be the first to know when they're ready - just keep an eye on our in-app announcements. There's a lot more in store!

Who created EasyPZ, and why?

El Vagabundo is a traveler who values dignity, freedom, and adventure above all else. Through his journeys across civilizations, one day he asked himself, "What came first: civilization or the toilet?", and came to the conclusion that without a toilet, there is no civilization.

Even today, our world struggles to answer this question. As a result, our dignity is often left unprotected. El Vagabundo believes that for a society to call itself civilized, it must treat restrooms as a non-negotiable right. Without them, there's no true civilization—just the illusion of one. Driven by this conviction, he created EasyPZ—not only for the world, but also for himself. El Vagabundo stubbornly believes in the right to find a restroom within 5 minutes and that it's the responsibility of society to guarantee it. Through EasyPZ, he aims to elevate the global standard for how we navigate our modern world—one restroom emergency at a time.

How is EasyPZ sustained?

EasyPZ is currently self-funded as a passion project that emerged from the intersection of human rights, urban exploration, and technology. We're committed to keeping the core service free and ad-free for as long as possible. While we may need to explore different monetization options as we grow, including potential premium features and customization options, our priority is maintaining a clean, reliable experience for all users. If you'd like to support EasyPZ's development, we'll soon introduce voluntary tipping options. We're in this for the long haul, and we'll continue to experiment with sustainable ways to grow while staying true to our mission.
